Development of a common communication platform supporting both energy
and telecom services in accordance to the IaaS paradigm.
This platform will provide connectivity between a variety of monitoring devices
and computational resources through a heterogeneous network infrastructure
comprising wired and wireless network technologies.

Development of a cloud-based ODM platform for collection, aggregation
and processing of energy and environmental parameters. This platform
will be as non-intrusive as possible as it will rely on advanced signal processing
techniques and intelligent learning algorithms. 

Thanks to the achievements of WP4, the railway ecosystem will be able to operate
and execute actions without the requirement for a third party to confirm operations
or exchange date or assure the relevant parties regarding the integrity of data.
The project will leverage a new data ecosystem based on novel principles including
no intermediation, immediate trust, transparency of the exchange and
“security-tamperproof”, based on a decentralized framework and self-executing
smart contracts.

Development of a WP5 demonstrator supporting visual and rule-based knowledge
extraction exploiting state-of-the-art big data hardware and software architectures.
The system will innovate with respect to the current state-of-the-art analytics
techniques by providing a methodology to extract clearer and more understandable
insights from data. Moreover, WP5 will output a Proof-of-Concept for the assessment
of the performance of data-driven methodologies.

WP6 will develop applications for demonstrations and pilots, based
on technologies that will be developed in the framework of the
other WPs and in relationship with the objectives of the call.
